It's been a while since this blog has been updated - a lot of tunes over the PA since then.
This Way Up on social media has migrated to Facebook: www.facebook.com/twuceilidh
This Way Up are still active - appearing most recently at Shrewsbury Folk Festival 2015 running workshops on 'playing for ceilidhs', as well as an ever-lengthening list of bookings around the Shropshire area. Most events are now private because there doesn't seem to be the appetite for public dances as there used to be. The band is still much the same with Richard Pidduck (melodeons), Stuart Altman (whistles & sax), Steev Hall (guitars & vocals), Richard Payne (sax & mandolin) but with the addition of Ray Archer on bass (if he's available - he's a busy man!)
However, to mark what might be our 30th year (it might be a bit longer but we can't remember exactly when we started) we are have a Christmas Ceilidh on Saturday 19 December.
